Lindai Xie, Ph.D.

Lindai Xie is an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education in the Department of Educational Psychology, Leadership, & Counseling at Texas Tech University, where she directs the TWIG Lab (Technology, Well-being, Integrity, and Growth). She earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision and her M.Ed. in Counselor Education (College Counseling and Student Affairs) from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her research focuses on college student well-being, especially among sexual assault survivors and international students, and on the ethical integration of generative AI in higher education and counselor training. She brings clinical experience in college counseling, career counseling, and academic advising to her teaching and research.
