Description

Weymouth Hall is a co-ed, built-in furniture residence hall. The First Year Success (FYS) Learning Community is located in Weymouth Hall on the southwest side of campus near the College of Architecture and the Law School. Features of the hall include a TV lounge, and access to the new Chitwood/Weymouth Learning Center. Limitless laundry lounges are available for all residents.

All rooms are furnished with built-in furniture including chests of drawers, pullout beds, desks, chairs, closets with overhead storage and a sink.

First Year Success Learning Community

The First Year Success Learning Community provides a unique experience for first-time freshman students to live together in an environment supporting their academic, personal, and professional success. Residents are challenged to explore six areas of interest: Academics, Community Culture, Leadership, Spirit and Traditions, Service and Wellness. Our goal is to help our residents become better aware of the countless opportunities and resources available at Texas Tech. Through these activities and events, you will have the chance to develop connections with students, faculty, and staff, while having fun! Most importantly, these experiences promote self-discovery and personal growth.
