Learning Community Information
The First Year Success Learning Community provides a unique experience for first-time freshman students to live together in an environment supporting their academic, personal and professional success. Residents are challenged to explore six areas of interest: Academics, Community Culture, Leadership, Spirit and Traditions, Service and Wellness. Our goal is to help our residents become better aware of the countless opportunities and resources available at Texas Tech. Through these activities and events, you will have the chance to develop connections with students, faculty, and staff, while having fun! Most importantly, these experiences promote self-discovery and personal growth.
The First Gen Learning Community provides a unique experience for First Generation College (FGC) students participating in the TTU Advising Center's First Year Success Program to live together in an environment supporting their academic, personal and professional success.
