The Twentieth Annual Big 12 Trombone Conference will take place from January 13 - 15, 2023. We are please to announce that this year's feature guest artist is Peter Steiner.
Proposals for clinics, faculty performances and student ensemble performances are now being accepted. Please click on the 'Call for Proposals' link below for details.

SOLO COMPETITIONS
The Big 12 Solo Competitions Repertoire for the 2023 conference has been determined. They are:
- Big 12 Tenor Trombone Solo Competition
- Preliminary Round: Salzedo - Piece Concertante (International Music Company)
- Final Round: Ropartz - Piece in Eb Minor (Alphonse Leduc)

Big 12 Bass Trombone Solo Competition
Preliminary Round: Sachse - Concertino (in F), Movements 1 and 2 (Editions Marc Reift)
Final Round: Lebedev - Concerto in One Movement (Edition Musicus - Ostrander edition)

Maximum age of the competition applicants is 26.
Recordings, due on November 7, 2022, are to be made with piano accompaniment.

CONFERENCE LOCATION
The Texas Tech University School of Music is located at the corner of 18th & Boston Avenue in Lubbock. The parking lot in front of the School of Music is free-to-park on Saturday and Sunday. If you arrive on Friday for Registration, you will need to pay the automatic parking kiosk in order to ensure that you do not receive a ticket. The kiosks do accept debit/credit cards. Friday parking regulations are in effect until 8:00p.m.
