Approximately 20 graduate and undergraduate Finance students participate in SMIF each
semester. Students are divided into teams to foster a rich learning experience with
team members and the SMIF faculty member, Dr. Will Armstrong. Typically, students are only accepted into the program for one semester.
Time Commitment.
A high level of commitment is required to participate in SMIF. Attending class is
a significant part of the experience. In addition to actively participating in rigorous
classroom discussions, students will be required to perform extensive research outside
the classroom.
