Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance

Our finance program provides students with a solid understanding of domestic and global finances. Students take coursework on financial statement analysis, financial markets and institutions, corporate finance, investments, management of financial institutions and real estate fundamentals. Additionally, they learn how individuals and organizations raise money and capital, and how to effectively allocate resources among various investment opportunities. Our graduates are prepared to become innovative leaders in the finance, banking or real estate industries.

Certificates

Certificates allow you to broaden your knowledge base or gain expertise in a specialized area to help advance your career.

Undergraduate finance students can earn a Certificate in Commercial Banking through the Excellence in Banking program. Designed to produce top-notch bankers, the program will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of modern banking operations and practices. You will take four courses related to the commercial banking industry and upon graduation receive a Certificate in Commercial Banking as well as your BBA in Finance.

The Commercial Real Estate Certificate Program is designed to prepare undergraduate business majors for careers in the commercial real estate industry,equipping them with skills in residential and commercial brokerage, appraisals, property management and real estate portfolio management. Students will take four courses related to the real estate industry and, upon graduation, will receive a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate.

Accelerated BBA to MS in Finance

The Accelerated BBA to MS in Finance program allows qualified Rawls College students to earn both undergraduate and graduate degrees in a cost-effective and timely manner. While working toward your Master of Science in Finance, you can count up to nine credit hours of approved graduate coursework toward your undergraduate degree, allowing you to graduate with both degrees in as little as five years.
