Students take coursework on financial statement analysis, financial markets and institutions, corporate finance, investments, management of financial institutions, and real estate fundamentals. Students wishing to focus on managing stock portfolios can apply to participate in the highly selective Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF), a $2.8 million student-managed stock portfolio class where students will be prepared to become Bloomberg certified.
