About

Terri Giddens is an associate professor of practice in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. She has over 30 years of teaching and consulting experience. She has had lead project management and technical roles in the development of software for many U.S. government entities involving the Department of Defense, Department of Agriculture, Department of the Interior and the Department of Education. She has developed secure web applications involving highly sensitive financial and student information. She has also served as an expert in the areas of software development / best practices, internet search engines, computer forensics, electronically Stored information and social media.She recently aided in the design and development of an agricultural market information system for Bangladesh that was funded by Foreign Agricultural Service-USDA. She was also involved in the research and design of the Economic Intelligence Observatory funded by the USDA for the Central American countries of Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama and Honduras.
