About

Caren Fullerton has been with the Area of Management at Texas Tech University on as an adjunct instructor since 2009 when she completed her Ph D. She became a full-time member of the faculty in 2016, serving in the position of Instructor/Lecturer. Prior to beginning work on her Ph D, she worked in the commercial banking industry for 8 years supporting a diverse set of customers from a large supermarket chain, a significant hospital entity, and an oil company headquartered in Australia with a refinery off the coast of Papua, New Guinea. While with the bank, she was the recipient of many sales awards earning multiple all expense paid trips to hot spots like Las Vegas, Nevada and Orlando, FL. She also worked in the bank's accounting area compiling and publishing required governmental reports.

Fullerton holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Texas Tech University with a focus in Management. 
Her research interests include: Family Owned Enterprises, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship. She is a member of the Academy of Management and the Family Firm Institute.
