More than 120 Texas Tech University's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources students, faculty and guests welcomed 14 representatives from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, including the organization's chairman Charles "Butch" Robinson, at a special Oct. 22 luncheon at the university's International Cultural Center.

The Texas Tech University Men's and Women's Rodeo teams continued their exciting seasons at the 59th Annual TTU Rodeo held at the Tech Equestrian Center Oct. 23-25. The women's team placed second out of 16 schools, and the men finished sixth.

Texas Tech University's equestrian team excelled in their season's first Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Hunt Seat Show, hosted by Trinity University in San Antonio, Oct. 15-16. The Red Raiders came out of the blocks quickly on the first day of competition, earning high point team honors for the day.
