Cody Arnall is an Associate Professor of Sculpture at Texas Tech University. Arnall was born in Tulsa, OK. He received a B.F.A. from Oklahoma State University, and an M.F.A. from Louisiana State University. He is a member of the international artists' collective, Expanded Draught and a founding member of the artist-run gallery and studio space, CO-OPt Research + Projects in Lubbock, TX. His artwork occupies art exhibition spaces with works that can be divided into these overlapping categories: electronic light-based works, investigations with objects and/or animals, and video/sound pieces.

Over the past decade, Arnall has been included in over 60 national and international exhibitions. Recent exhibitions are a solo at Box13 Artspace and inclusion in the 8th annual Sculpture Month Houston exhibition, Solid State, both in Houston. Other notable exhibitions are those at the University of Notre Dame, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, Contemporary Art Museum Plainview, Southeast Missouri State University, Axis Gallery in Sacramento CA, K Space Contemporary in Corpus Christi TX, CICA Museum in Gimpo South Korea, Site:Brooklyn in Brooklyn NY, Barrister’s Gallery in New Orleans LA, Durango Arts Center in Durango CO, Pump Project in Austin TX, Terminal 136 in San Antonio TX, Herron School of Art and Design, DEMO Project in Springfield IL, Living Arts in Tulsa OK, the American University Museum in Washington DC, and The Shed in  Galway IE. He has also participated in residencies at Sculpture Space in Utica NY and at Vermont Studio Center in Johnson VT.
