Kara received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2018 and a Master of Art in Humanities in 2021, both from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview and Lubbock, Texas.  She has been with Texas Tech University since 2017 helping educators, students, parents, and young children reach their personal, educational, and professional goals at Texas Tech University Center for Early Head Start.   Kara is passionate about supporting and advocating for the students at Texas Tech University.

In her time outside of the School or Art, you can find Kara wandering about the Museum of Texas Tech University and Mahon Public Library.
