Why Arabic?

Around 344 million people speak Arabic in more than 30 countries. It has been designated by the U.S. State Department as a "critical language” indicating the nation's need for expertise in the Arabic language and culture. A knowledge of Arabic opens career opportunities in the government, the corporate world, and communications. Our program offers an Arabic minor.
