Why Latin?

Latin has a history of over 2,000 years. Learning Latin improves mastery of English syntax and grammar, increases knowledge of the many Latin roots of English words, familiarizes you with key terminology in the legal and medical professions, and helps you learn other European languages with greater ease. Latin students go on to excel in a range of occupations and vocations, including medicine and law, education, publishing, politics and public policy, business, and religion.
