Why Korean?

Over 82 million people speak Korean worldwide and Korea is the sixth largest trading partner with the United States, and is considered a "critical language". Learning Korean gives students a multicultural perspective, and those who are interested may use Korean for jobs in business, tourism, high-tech, and commerce. Korean courses satisfy TTU Foreign Language Requirements and students may study Korean to complete a minor in Asian Studies.
