Assistant

Description:

• Assist with planning, preparation, promotion, and execution of student events and engagement initiatives
• Help create engaging student experiences through event ideas, activities, marketing, and promotions
• Assist with the weekly student newsletter, including gathering information and writing student-focused content
• Support Student Engagement programs including Peer Co, Red Raider Orientation, and online student engagement
• Create and organize event materials, signage, supplies, and promotional items
• Provide support for Student Engagement, Career Services, Recruitment, and Advising initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a student in the College of Media & Communication
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Takes initiative and is comfortable working independently
• Interest in event planning, student engagement, communications, or marketing
• Current sophomore or junior preferred
