At the College of Media & Communication, we are part of many communities. Through teaching, scholarship, creative activity, and service, our students, faculty, and staff connect with and contribute to communities locally, nationally, and around the world.

Through community-engaged learning,engaged scholarship, and outreach, we build meaningful partnerships beyond the university. Together with community partners, we exchange knowledge, create opportunities, and make a positive impact.

Building on a long history of community partnership, the college launched a focused effort in 2024 to document, support, and expand this work as part of Texas Tech University's broader outreach and engagement initiative.
