The Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) held its annual Midwinter Conference March 5-6, and Texas Tech College of Media & Communication faculty, graduate students, and program alumni made for a strong presence in the event's schedule.

Midwinter is a notable regional research conference that CoMC faculty and students often attend in preparation for the parent organization's larger conference later in the year.

“AEJMC's midwinter conference is a great opportunity for our faculty and students to showcase their research and get some feedback for the international conference later in the year,” says Associate Dean for Research & Grants, Glenn Cummins, Ph.D. “Texas Tech always has a strong presence at this regional meeting, but we literally dominated the conference program this year. Between our current faculty and students and then also our graduates, it seems like almost every session had a Texas Tech presence.”
