Two giants of our college were honored at the 40th Annual Celebrity Luncheon hosted by the Association for Women in Communications of Lubbock.
Todd and Barbie Chambers received a Gold Medal Award presented to people who have worked over an extended period of time to improve the lives of people in the Lubbock community.
Our Founding Dean Jerry Hudson received the Mary Ann Edwards Communicator of the Year Award for his significant contribution to the media and communication discipline and positive impact on the community.
These communicators have dedicated their lives to establish a collaborative community of growth and dedication to the industry. Proceeds from the luncheon benefit scholarship endowments in the Texas Tech College of Media & Communication and support ongoing professional development of members.
