- Coursework (30-36 hours, depending on program of study)
- Comprehensive Component (Comprehensive exam, portfolio, published work, or thesis)
- Time to degree: 2 years (full time) to 4 years (part time)
Doctoral Degrees (Ph.D. and Ed.D.)
- Coursework (Usually 51 hours of coursework beyond the master's degree; not including
12 dissertation hours)
- Qualifying Exam
- Develop and Defend Dissertation proposal
- Develop and Defend Dissertation
- Time to degree: 4 to 5 years (full time) to 7 years (part time)
