Janna Brendle, Ph.D., is an associate professor of special education in the College
of Education at Texas Tech University. Prior to teaching at the university level,
she worked as a special education administrator and diagnostician in public school
in Texas. Her teaching responsibilities include the educational diagnostician, special
education teacher preparation and special education doctoral programs. Her research
focuses on response to intervention, high incidence disabilities and the changing
needs in educational diagnostician preparation programs.
