Linda is from Lubbock and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a focus in reading. While a student at TTU she was a member of the Goin' Band from Raiderland as well as the TTU Orchestra and the Wind Ensemble. She taught school, was a stay-at-home mom, and then joined TTU as an advisor in the School of Art. In the 2018-19 academic year, she was honored by the university with the President's Excellence in Academic Advising Program Award. She now not only advises in the Honors College but also assists with the Undergraduate Research Scholars program. She is excited to be involved in helping Honors College students make the most of their college careers.
