Billing and Deposits
A 10% Housing deposit and 20% Hospitality deposit, along with a signed contract, will
be due 30 days after contract meeting. Camps/conferences will have until that date
to cancel the event completely with no penalty.
Guests
will be billed within fifteen business days of their conference checking out. Payment
can be made by check, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa. Texas Tech
University-affiliated groups can make payment by Inter-Institutional
Voucher (IV). Payment is due within 30 days of the date on your invoice. Individuals
not affiliated with a group will need to pay any balance prior to checking out.

Additional In-Hall Space Rental
Additional space needs for camp stores and/or storage rooms can be reserved for a fee of $26.00 per space, per day. Limited meeting rooms within the residence halls are available. Please contact the Program Director for Staff Development and Summer Ops for availability and rates.
Hospitality Services
As decisions are made, Hospitality Services will be in contact with all camps/conferences
that have notated interest in meal service to discuss details and logistics.
Summer 2023 meal prices are as follows:
Pre-tax rate, Texas Tech will apply an 8.25% tax to meals for groups who do not submit a tax-exempt form.

UREC
General facility access includes use of facilities on a first come first served basis. Examples of facilities include basketball courts, racquetball courts, pool and ping pong tables, rock climbing (during specified hours, and various fitness spaces (age restrictions applies see policies) Use of outdoor Leisure pool is also included (17+ only during non- family hours)

Pool Rentals
Book your next pool rental with UREC! Pool rentals are available at the leisure pool during the outdoor season only (April-September) Registration will open online here March 2024 for Cove and Stage Rentals. After-hour rentals can be submitted up to 6 months in advance.

Policies
Children Policies
Children under the age of 17 are allowed in the Rec Center during open hours, but they must be accompanied by an adult. The adult and child must stay within arm's reach of each other during the visit.
For safety reasons, there are certain restrictions that apply to a child's participation in the facility:
- Children under the age of 12 cannot utilize any weight or cardio equipment or attend Raider X classes.
- Children between the ages of 12-16 can utilize machine weight equipment and cardio equipment and attend Raider X classes when supervised by an adult.
- Children under the age of 17 are not allowed in the Free Weight Room, Raider Power Zone, or Texas Tech CrossFit.
- Children under the age of 17 can only be at the Aquatic Center/Leisure Pool during Family Hours. Dates and times for Family Hours can be found under the “Hours” tab on the website.
