Conference Rates
Deposits and Contracts
A 10 percent Housing deposit and 20 percent Hospitality deposit, along with a signed contract, are due 30 days after the contract meeting. Camps and conferences may cancel without penalty before this due date.
Billing and Payment
- Group Billing: Invoices will be sent within 15 business days after the conference check-out. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.
- Individual Guests: For those not in a group, any remaining balance must be paid at least seven days before arrival.
Accepted payment methods include check, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, or Inter-Institutional Voucher (for Texas Tech University-affiliated groups).

Additional In-Hall Space Rental
Additional space needs for camp stores and/or storage rooms can be reserved for a fee of $26 per space, per day. Limited meeting rooms within the residence halls are available. Please contact housing.conferences@ttu.edu for availability and rates.
Hospitality Services
As decisions are made, Hospitality Services will be in contact with all camps/conferences that have notated interest in meal service to discuss details and logistics.

Pre-tax rate, Texas Tech will apply an 8.25 percent tax to meals for groups who do not submit a tax-exempt form.

Parking
To set up parking for your group, please visit Transportation & Parking Service's event submission page and submit your camp/conference as an event.

Multiple vehicle passes may be purchased. Cost is $8.50 per vehicle per week (one week minimum purchase required).
University Recreation
To begin the University Recreation pass/rental process, please visit University Recreation's Rentals & Reservations.
General facility access includes use of facilities on a first come first served basis. Examples of facilities include basketball courts, racquetball courts, pool and ping pong tables, rock climbing (during specified hours, and various fitness spaces (age restrictions applies see policies). Use of outdoor Leisure pool is also included (17+ only during non-family hours).
Pool Rentals
Book your next pool rental with University Recreation! Pool rentals are available at the outdoor Leisure Pool from May–Sept. during family hours. Family hours are generally offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 4 to 7:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 7 p.m. Rental requests will be considered for the 2025 summer season after Jan. 2, 2025. All indoor aquatic center rental requests must submit a rental request form to be considered.
Policies
Children Policies
For safety reasons, there are certain restrictions that apply to a child’s participation in the facility:
- Children under the age of 17 are allowed in the Rec Center during open hours, but they must be accompanied by an adult. The adult and child must stay within arm's reach of each other during the visit.
- When using the indoor facilities, there must be at least one adult chaperone present for every 10 children under the age of 17.
- When using the leisure pool, there must be at least one adult chaperone present for every five children under the age of 17.
- Children under the age of 12 cannot utilize any weight or cardio equipment or attend Raider X classes.
- Children between the ages of 12–16 can utilize machine weight equipment and cardio equipment and attend Raider X classes when supervised by an adult.
- Children under the age of 17 are not allowed in the Free Weight Room, Raider Power Zone, or Texas Tech CrossFit.
- Children under the age of 17 can only be at the Aquatic Center/Leisure Pool during Family Hours. Dates and times for Family Hours can be found under the Hours tab on the website.
