M.C. Carrington '82

 

M.C. Carrington, a devoted advocate for Texas Tech, has had a lifelong connection with the university. He received his undergraduate degree in accounting with honors from Texas Tech in 1979, became a CPA, and went to Texas Tech Law, again graduating with honors in 1982.
 
Joining the prestigious law firm MehaffyWeber that same year, M.C. rose to become a shareholder and a respected leader within the firm. Throughout his career, M.C. has garnered numerous accolades for his successful representation of major clients such as Altec and DuPont. Additionally, M.C. holds Board Certification in Personal Injury Trial and Civil Litigation from the Texas Board of Legal Certification.
 
Beyond his legal accomplishments, M.C. has served on the Texas Tech Law School Foundation Board of Trustees since 2000, currently serving as the Foundation's Vice President. He received the Texas Tech University School of Law Distinguished Service Award in 2018 and is a generous supporter of Texas Tech law student general scholarships.
