The Texas Tech Lawyer is published annually for alumni and friends of Texas Tech University School of Law. The magazine highlights and recaps a year of achievements from our faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

Prior to the Lawyer, the alumni magazine was titled Cornerstone. Established in 1982, the name Cornerstone was derived from the relationship between the law school and its alumni: the Tech law school serves as the cornerstone for a successful career in law; and the alumni, through their support, serve as the cornerstone for developing excellence in the law school.
