Mark is the founder and senior partner of The Lanier Law Firm, a national litigation firm with offices in Houston, New York, and Los Angeles. Over the past 30 years, he has achieved remarkable success, securing some of the largest verdicts in history and advocating for justice in cases involving dangerous drugs, medical devices, and consumer products.

Beyond his legal career, Mark founded the Lanier Theological Library, one of the nation's largest private theological collections. He also founded the Christian Trial Lawyers Association, a nonprofit that connects principled attorneys for civic-minded endeavors. He has been honored with honorary degrees from several universities, including St. Johns, Pepperdine, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Mark's exceptional achievements earned him numerous accolades, including the Distinguished Alumnus award from Texas Tech Law in 2015 and Texas Tech University in 2016.

Mark and Becky have been outstanding supporters of the Law School, with Mark serving on the Texas Tech Law School Foundation Board. Their remarkable $6 million gift made the Mark and Becky Lanier Professional Development Center a reality in 2008, significantly enhancing the learning experience at Texas Tech Law.
