Sinfonietta

Previously called University String Orchestra

The University Sinfonietta, formerly known as University String Orchestra, is designed for non-music majors, string education majors on a secondary instrument, and community members. This ensemble provides an opportunity to both maintain and improve skills playing a wide variety of music with limited weekly time commitments. Offering one (1) performance credit per semester, the course is a performing ensemble and is not an introductory instruction class for playing the instrument. Private instruction at any level is encouraged at TTU with faculty and music majors.
