Tony WrightWith more than 20 years of hands-on and strategic experience in interactive marketing and a background in traditional and interactive public relations and journalism, Tony Wright has spent his career helping companies of all sizes be profitable online.

Wright is a search marketing geek and has extensive experience in online crisis communication and brand reputation strategy, including corporate blogging and corporate monitoring, most notably directing the online corporate reputation management strategy for American Airlines immediately following the events of September 11, 2001. 

Wright founded WrightIMC in 2009 after several years as director of digital at Weber Shandwick, the largest public relations firm in the world at the time. Wright also spent time at several search-centric firms - one of which he founded. The firm he founded was named as one of the top 10 search engine marketing firms by Ad Age in its second year. 

At WrightIMC, Wright manages online media strategies, public relations, and other interactive marketing projects for clients, as well as the day-to-day operations of the agency. He provides valuable input into creative, technical and strategic projects as well, ensuring that the strategic vision of all interactive marketing programs meshes with campaign goals.

Wright is a sought-after speaker at industry events, including SMX, Pubcon, Search Engine Strategies and others. His frequent contribution of articles, columns and quotes to various national and trade publications are widely read and cited.

Wright's work for his clients has been repeatedly been recognized in local and national award campaigns, including the Excellence in Interactive Marketing Award, the Katie Awards, Webawards and the PRweek Awards. Under Wright's direction, WrightIMC also won the American Marketing Associations “Marketer of the Year” award.

Wright is a two-time former President of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Search Marketing Association. He was also elected twice as a board member of the Search Engine Marketing Professionals association. 

Wright is a proud graduate of John Brown University and Texas Tech University. Wright serves on the advisory board of the Texas Tech College of Media & Communication. 

Wright lives in Allen, Texas with his wife Kathy and their four children. In his spare time, he coaches his kid's soccer and football teams. He also serves on several committees at his church and with the Allen Sports Association. He enjoys boating, fishing, hunting, reading and watching Texas Tech and Dallas Cowboys football.
