Matt Bush

Matt Bush was born in Idalou, Texas, near Lubbock. He's a third-generation Red Raider with advertising in his blood. He's been on commercial sets since he was 2 years old and working with his dad, both in front and behind the camera.

Bush graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in advertising and exercise sports science in 2009 and then joined his father's political consulting firm to help elect state representatives, judges, mayors and sheriffs.

In 2011, Bush moved to Chicago to work on his copywriting craft at the Chicago Portfolio School and through which he received his first internship in San Francisco. From there, Bush returned to Chicago to begin his career at Leo Burnett Worldwide working on the Allstate Insurance account. He then transferred to Havas Worldwide where he would make his mark with national and international award-winning advertising campaigns for Hefty and Reynolds Wrap.

According to Bush, his most notable work has been the Hefty! Hefty! Hefty! campaign (which featured John Cena) and the Reynolds Wrap campaign (which featured Chicago Cub baseball player, Anthony Rizzo).

Following his three years at Havas Worldwide, Bush moved to powerhouse ad agency Foote, Cone and Belding Chicago where he has worked on multiple accounts, including Jack Daniel's, Michelob ULTRA and Jimmy John's.

Matt is currently an associate creative director at Ogilvy Chicago working on the Walgreens account.

He's been married to his wife, Tricia, for four years, and they have a 7-month-old boy named Jackson. Tricia is an operational manager for Big City Optical in Chicago.
