Heard the sounds of calypso or capoeira? Then we have the opportunity for you to travel the world while staying in Lubbock...
Culture Fest is our largest event of the Fall. An event where the many cultures of Texas Tech comes together to share what makes them unique.
Join us on October 7th as we invite our various international student organizations, language departments, and other multicultural groups to share the different aspects of their cultures, through music, food, live performances and arts and crafts.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
Should I bring Cash or Card?
Yes, bring both!
While some student organizations might be able to accept cards, others might not.
There are no ATMs on the property, so it may be beneficial to have cash in hand.
Many Students are now using Cashless Apps. Some students may have an option like Square,
where you can use a debit or credit card.
If the weather is bad, will there be a back up plan?
Yes! We do have a backup plan in case the weather changes and alters any plans. If
we are rained out, we will push the event back to the following day, October 8th,
11 am - 2 pm, again here at the ICC.
Where can I park?
There will be Free parking located around the International Culture Center and next door at the Texas Tech Museum. Since this event takes place on a Saturday parking is open.
What should I wear?
No matter if your an attendee, or volunteering in some way, we encourage you to wear cultural attire if you so wish! If you have cultural clothing or accessories from home that you would like to wear then this is a great environment to share in!
Should I bring Chairs for the parade?
There will be areas to set up chairs or to sit along the curb during the parade route.
The Flag parade will start at the Ranching Heritage Center and will end in front of
the Globe in front of the International Cultural Center.
