Killam Endowed Trust

A generous legacy gift of over four million dollars was left in trust to Texas Tech University School of Law to establish the George R. Killam, Jr. Chair of Criminal Law, allowing the Law School to attract and engage nationally renowned experts in criminal law.
 
The Killam Chair's inaugural recipient was the late and highly respected Professor Arnold H. Loewy. Professor Loewy initiated and led Texas Tech Law Review's Annual Criminal Law Symposium, which brought top criminal law experts from around the world to Lubbock for discussions on the latest issues in criminal law research and scholarship. Throughout his illustrious 57-year career, Professor Loewy's dedication and commitment to his students earned him immense admiration and endearment.
