TTU School of Music Annual Carol Concert

As a way to close the semester, the Texas Tech University Choirs (University Choir, Scarlet Voce, and Matador Singers) will present their 2023 Carol Concert at St. John’s United Methodist Church.

Traditional and nontraditional holiday music from the United States and around the world will be performed under the direction of Dr. Alan Zabriskie, Dr. Corey Sullivan, and Dr. Brad Light.

The combined choirs will close the concert with Daniel Pinkham's Christmas Cantata. This last piece includes the collaboration of a brass quintet and organ.

Dr. Zabriskie, the mastermind behind this project, will also be joined by three of his students: Hwanwook Lee, Patrick Vu, and Bryce Taylor. The choral department is continuing a 60-year-old tradition by making this concert possible. Everyone is welcome to join them and our wonderful singers to bid farewell to the semester with much holiday spirit.

Students who provide a TTU ID will be able to attend the event for free.

For those wishing to purchase tickets, please click on the link. General admission is $10. Admission for seniors and those under 18 is $5.

We hope that you join us this Friday, December 1st at 7:30 pm. We look forward to singing carols for and with you!
