Eva Browning Artist-in-Residence and Associate Professor of Piano, Daniel del Pino, has organized a series of concerts in collaboration with guest artists. This year, the series features Professor del Pino joined by notable musicians such
as cellist Amit Peled, Professor of Peabody Institute in Baltimore; pianist William
Westney, former Texas Tech Eva Browning Artist-in-Residence and Paul Whitfield Horn
Professor; and Romanian violinist Irina Muresanu, Laureate of the Queen Elizabeth
International Competition. The series finale will be a full recital by the Hermitage
Trio, who boast several GRAMMY Award nominations and a First Prize in the Tchaikovsky
International Cello Competition.
The Eva Browning Artist Series will continue our tradition of artistic excellence
by welcoming unparalleled artists to perform for our Univeristy and Lubbock community.
