Heather Bolin

Heather E. Bolin graduated from Texas Tech University in 2005 with a degree in Music Education. During her decade of public school service in Lubbock, Tx, she established and maintained the Evans Middle School Choir as the largest and most awarded middle school program in UIL Region 16. Her choirs worked extensively with Dr. Carolyn Cruse and the TTU Music Education Department, hosting dozens of choral techniques students and preservice teachers.

From 2015-2020 Mrs. Bolin embarked on a new journey, serving as a Satellite Supervisor for Student Teachers, completing the Master of Music Education degree, and consulting with a variety of music programs across the state.  Heather Bolin maintains an active role in teacher development serving as a consultant, adjudicator, and mentor for choral conductor-teachers across the nation. She has been invited to share her research on integrating stations and centers into the secondary music rehearsal at SMTE, NAfME, TCDA, and many professional developments across the state.

Heather is thrilled to continue to serve her alma mater as a music education faculty member and Student Teaching Coordinator.
