About IGNITE!

This enticing showcase will feature fast-paced performances by a variety of music ensembles housed in the School of Music, including our Symphonic Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, University Choir, Mariachi Los Matadores, Steel Drum Bands, Jazz Bands, and more. Now, in its fourth year, the IGNITE! concert is becoming a mainstay on the Lubbock cultural events calendar. Last year, a matinee was performed for nearly 2,000 middle and high school students, with an evening concert with over 1,000 audience members in attendance.
