String studies at the Texas Tech School of Music emphasize preparation for careers in professional orchestra, chamber music, and solo engagements, as well as preparing students for success as pedagogues in public schools and universities. Students choose this first-class, Tier-One research institution, for the artistic and pedagogical strength of its faculty as well as its performance opportunities within and outside of the University.
