What is a TCVPA Student Ambassador?

TCVPA Ambassador Expectations

The J.T. & Margaret Talkington College of Visual & Performing Arts (TCVPA) Ambassador Programs is a select group of student volunteers. The goal of the Ambassadors Program is to provide information about the College, individual schools and programs to prospective students, parents, alumni, donors, and others. Ambassadors attend recruiting events such as the Texas Tech Preview Day, Saturday Visit Days, and other information sessions as needed on behalf of the College. This can include both on-campus and virtual events.

An Ambassador is expected to be:

  • Positive in they/their attitude
  • Willing to discuss changes to the Ambassador Program with his/her supervisor or Associate Undergraduate Dean that they/their feels could help the Ambassador Program and the arts community as a whole
