Through a partnership between the Texas Tech College of Education and AmeriCorps’ City Year Boston, three future teachers have spent the past year serving in under-resourced schools.
The $98,000, three-year grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities will fund a project focused on improving human geography curriculum at Estacado High School.
The award from the Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired honors dedication to serving people with visual impairments.
