Texas Tech University System Board of Regents on Thursday (Feb. 24) approved changes in academic rank, effective Sept. 1, 2022, and granted tenure, effective immediately, for nine faculty members in the College of Education.
The faculty members promoted from assistant professor to associate professor with tenure are:
- Irma Almager, Department of Educational Psychology, Leadership and Counseling
- Hugo García, Department of Educational Psychology, Leadership and Counseling
- Rebecca Hite, Department of Curriculum and Instruction
- Bryan Hotchkins, Department of Educational Psychology, Leadership and Counseling
- Kwanghee Jung, Department of Educational Psychology, Leadership and Counseling
- Ian Lértora, Department of Educational Psychology, Leadership and Counseling
- Jon McNaughtan, Department of Educational Psychology, Leadership and Counseling
- Jianlan Wang, Department of Teacher Education
Also, René Saldaña of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction was promoted from associate professor to full professor.
