If you have questions related to Spring 2023 course selection – or other immediate issues with which you need assistance from an advisor prior to your Honors registration date – we encourage you to contact us via email, to honors.advising@ttu.edu or to a specific Honors advisor.

If you would like to meet with an Honors advisor, or especially if you are required to do so, please use our online scheduling system, Booksy, to set an appointment time.

Important Points to Note in Preparing to Submit your online Permit Request Form:

All university classes for Spring 2023 should be loaded on Raiderlink by October 3rd. Honors sections offered during the Spring semester are listed in the Spring 2023 Course Offerings webpage.

Permits are only issued for selected, high-demand Honors sections, and not all Honors sections offered in Spring 2023. Please consult the online Honors Course Offerings webpage(s) to see if Honors sections in which you are interested require a permit to enroll.

With the online Permit Request Form (PRF), you can simply attach a screenshot of your schedule from Plan Ahead, or Visual Schedule Builder, in order to show the courses in which you intend to enroll.

If your online PRF is not completed (that is, both your Honors and non-Honors courses are not clearly noted on the form), it will be deleted and your permit request(s) will NOT be processed.

Along those lines, it's perfectly fine if you make changes to your overall schedule later; you will not be locked into the tentative plan that you share with your PRF.

Once you successfully submit an online PRF, you will receive a copy of your completed form via email. If you do not receive this auto-response, please contact Kelsey Kimzey so she can make sure your PRF was received by our staff.

The Honors College recommends that you successfully complete at least six (6) semester credit-hours of Honors coursework each academic-year.
