The Senarian Leaders program is an invitation-only early acceptance/early commitment Honors program designed to:
- Bring top scholars who have demonstrated leadership aptitude to Texas Tech
- Continue to develop Texas's next generation of leaders through intentional leadership development and scholastic programming
- Create a sustained, rigourios academic and mentorship pathway for burgeoning, creative leaders.
Senarian Benefits:
- Presidential Merit Scholars to Texas Tech University
- Senarian Leader Scholarship from the Honors College
- Dedicated Honors First Year Experience course and personalized faculty/peer mentoring
- Leadership Training Program, 1:1 Mentorship with Upper Administration, and Peer Leadership Ladder in the Honors College

Senarian Eligibility Requirements
- Top 10% of your graduating high school class
- Texas state residency
- Early commit to Texas Tech and the Honors College
- Continued participation in the Senarian Leaders Program
Senarian candidate Process Dates

July/August:
- Apply to Texas Tech via the Common App -or- Apply Texas
- Apply to the Honors College

October 1:
- Application deadline: all application components due for the application to TTU and to Honors

October 22:
- Notification made of your admission decision to TTU and to Honors

November 1:
- Notification of candidates selected as Senarian Leaders, with details about merit-based awards

November 15:
- Selected Senarian Leaders commitment to the Honors ocllege due

January 1:
- Selected Senarian Leaders registration for Red Raider Orientation due
