This scholarship was established in 2013 by James H. Gill, and matching funds were made available by the J.T. and Margaret Talkington Foundation. The scholarship is to be used for students who are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces or are veterans with an honorable discharge. Marines or Navy will have priority.
