This scholarship was established in 2013 by Kathy Johnson, and matching funds were made available by the J.T. and Margaret Talkington Foundation. The scholarship is awarded to a 3L member of the Texas Tech Law Review who has not previously or otherwise been awarded any law school scholarship assistance.
