Samantha Tweet '24

Samantha is an Associate at Lloyd Gosselink, where she is part of the Water, Districts, Business Services, and Energy & Utility Practice Groups. She assists clients with matters related to certificates of convenience and necessity, water supply, water quality, and water rights, as well as providing general counsel services. Samantha holds a B.S. in Resource and Environmental Studies from Texas State University. During law school, she was a Research Fellow at the Water Law & Policy Center and clerked with the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. Her research for the Center focused on policy development for a nitrogen circular economy in collaboration with the Center for Advancing Sustainable and Distributed Fertilizer Production (CASFER), an NSF-funded Engineering Research Center. She also served as President of the Environmental Law Society.

Ebee Ward '24

Ebee Ward '24

Ebee is an Associate at Rigby Slack Lawrence Berger + Comerford, PLLC, where she is part of the Environmental Law Group. She assists clients with compliance matters related to waste, water, and air quality, focusing on permitting, compliance, and enforcement issues, primarily involving the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Ebee also supports the firm’s Real Estate and Transactional Attorneys with Phase I reports and Phase II investigations under the All Appropriate Inquiry standard, as well as handling environmental litigation, including complex nuisance and Superfund cases. Ebee earned her B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder and graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law with a concentration in Environmental Law. As a student fellow at the Water Law & Policy Center, she collaborated with professors and students from Texas Tech Law and Texas A&M University School of Law to draft detailed groundwater surveys for multiple states, later published in a series of volumes.
