The Symphonic Band is a 65-member ensemble led by Dr. Eric Allen, Dr. Sarah McKoin, and Dr. Joel Pagán. The tour will feature Faculty Soloist Lisa Garner Santa and Faculty Composer Jennifer Jolley as the Symphonic Band explores themes of mystery, conquest, and utter joy.

The School of Music at Texas Tech University's J.T. & Margaret Talkington College of Visual & Performing Arts announces their Symphonic Band will tour in February as part of their trip to the College Band Directors National Assoication's (CBDNA) upcoming conference.

  

The Symphonic Band's upcoming tour dates are as follows:

February 16, 2020 – Hemmle Recital Hall, Lubbock, TX – 7:30PM

February 17, 2020 – Allen High School, Allen, TX – 7:00pm

February 18, 2020 – Marcus High School, Flower Mound, TX – 7:00pm

February 19, 2020 – University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK – 8:00pm.

 

"Performing at the CBDNA Southwest Divisional Conference is an incredible opportunity that speaks to the depth of musicianship within the School of Music," says Dr. Eric Allen.
