Matador Opera Workshop

Matador Opera Workshop

May 13-26, 2024

The Matador Opera Workshop is designed for the aspiring opera singer seeking to learn how to prepare, perform and perfect the art of role preparation. This two-week role prep intensive provides daily coaching, lessons, rehearsals, solo concert performances, master class performances, and career guidance.

Led by a team of experienced opera professionals, the workshop offers a unique opportunity to work closely with top-notch directors and coaches. You'll receive personalized instruction and guidance as you prepare for a performance of Johann Strauss' Die Fledermaus, which will showcase your talent and skill to a wide audience.

All workshop participants will be assigned a role to study. Some participants will be given a principal role to sing in its entirety while others will be able to perform in scenes from that role.
