Junior Visit Day 2026
Are you a current high school junior interested in majoring in music at Texas Tech? Then you are invited to apply for Junior Visit Day at the School of Music on Monday, March 23, 2026! At this event, future music students will have the chance to be immersed in the life of a music major at Texas Tech.
As part of this event, students will attend morning classes. They will have the opportunity to meet students and faculty, enjoy performances from all major ensembles, take a private lesson with applied faculty, and get questions answered by future peers and mentors at the School of Music. Please see below for a tentative schedule.
Breakfast, lunch, and free parking will be provided. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend. This is a unique opportunity to explore the school, experience our programs, and get a feel for what it's really like to be part of our vibrant music community.
