Community Group Offered to TTU Students
The Texas Tech University Caprock Jazz Ensemble was founded in Spring 2025 as a new vocal jazz ensemble dedicated to exploring the vibrant world of jazz and contemporary choral styles. Open to all singers (voice majors and non-majors) by audition, the ensemble provides a dynamic and inclusive space for students to engage with jazz standards, swing, blues, Latin jazz, and popular styles through rich vocal harmony and improvisation. The ensemble aims to foster a love for vocal jazz while building strong musicianship and ensemble skills in a creative and supportive environment.
