You do not need to be a music major to join an ensemble.
Treble Choir
University Singers is an un-auditioned treble choir open to singers from all majors throughout Texas Tech. The choir participates in a regular series of concerts each year. All soprano and alto singers are encouraged to enroll in this ensemble course.
Audition Information
Auditions for Choirs will take place on August 21 & 22, 2023 in the School of Music Building.

Continuing Choir Students
Enroll in the choir that you plan to audition for.
Non-Music Majors
Enroll in the choir that you are most interested in participating in. In August, if you are placed in a different choir, we will adjust your enrollment then.
First Year Students (majors)
At Freshman Orientation, please enroll in any of the choirs listed below. In August, if you are placed in a different choir, we will adjust your enrollment then.

- Tenor/Bass: Matador Singers – MUEN 3101-207
