Space is Limited!
Brand New for Summer 2026, as part of the TTU School of Art Pre-College Immersion Program, Graphic Design Camp offers high school students an immersive college experience in graphic design. Experience what it means to be a Red Raider and a graphic designer! Students will live in the dorms, participate in fun activities, and take exciting workshops, all in an atmosphere of university instruction. Workshops offer opportunities to learn new techniques through multiple mediums taught by award-winning Texas Tech faculty.

Location: Texas Tech University, School of Art, Lubbock, TX
Camp Requirements
Open to all students entering 9th-12 grades (must be at least 15 yrs old on or before June 7, 2026)
All applications must include:
- 2 letters of recommendation from a teacher or mentor.
- 5-10 digital images of your work.
- Completed camp registration form
Registration
The registration form and paying by credit card are both required for registration. Your camp registration is not complete unless the following form has been completed and either mailed or emailed to School of Art. Also, payment can be made by the link below.

Contemporary Poster design with Professor Dirk Fowler
Explore the connection between graphic design and POPular music. Learn about concept development. Use found and original imagery and typography to interpret music visually. Combine traditional hands-on graphic design with digital media to make album covers and posters for your favorite musician!
BRAINSTORM!
Creative brainstorming in Graphic Design with Professor Carla Tedeschi
Imaginative thinking is essential when developing unique, unexpected, and creative ideas. Brainstorming encourages creativity, enhances communication, and builds a foundation for collaborative and independent thinking. Join an action-packed, fast-paced class thats not just about learning, but also about having fun and enjoying the creative process! Get ready to turn the way you usually think upside down and learn how to create unexpected and clever ideas quickly and easily.
MY STORY IN LETTERS!
Typographic design as self-expression with Professors Dinah Hodges & Gilberto Corona
Delve into typography as both a design tool and a form of self-expression. Through engaging hands-on projects, you will create your own typographic piece and reflect on the impact that letters and fonts have had on your life. Tour TTUs special collections library and examine rare type specimens and archival materials that illuminate the history of communication—from ancient tablets to contemporary digital type design. This course is sure to enhance your understanding of the vital role typography plays in graphic design.
