I cannot speak highly enough on how open the leadership at the Graduate School was to our suggestions to helping students.
The ability to meet with Dean Sheridan on a monthly basis to give him feedback on graduate life at Texas Tech has been invaluable. He has been incredibly open to new ideas, and gives those around him agency to enact the change they want for their respective departments. The collaboration with other ambassadors led to innovative approaches to address novel situations as they arose, and I cannot speak highly enough on how open the leadership at the Graduate School was to our suggestions to helping students.

It is always great to strike up a conversation with someone in a different program from me and I get to learn so much.
The aspects of this program that I find the most valuable is being able to connect with peers from different graduate departments. It is always great to strike up a conversation with someone in a different program from me and I get to learn so much. One of the most important aspects of higher education is being able to listen and learn as much as possible; and you can learn a lot from your peers.
