TTU – CATIE Research Exchange Program

Texas Tech University (TTU) International Affairs and the Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center (CATIE) in Costa Rica would like to announce a second call for proposals for the exchange of faculty interested in developing research collaborations between TTU and CATIE. Under this call, travel-related mobility costs will be provided to support faculty in developing research collaborations as seed funding. The goal of this fund is to support faculty development and identify areas of collaboration between the two institutions to form a pathway towards establishing more ambitions, long-term projects.
 

CATIE (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center) is a regional academic center for innovation and sustainable development in agriculture, management, conservation, and sustainable use of natural resources. CATIE has strong international ties and seeks to increase sustainable and inclusive human well-being in Latin American and the Caribbean through graduate education, impact-oriented research, and technical cooperation and dissemination of knowledge. CAITE is located in Turrialba, Costa Rica.

Expression of Interest due at least 30 days before full proposal to allow for faculty matching.

Proposal Due on rolling deadlines throughout the year.
